Yes, for now: You should put some ice on the finger to minimize pain. Use Ibuprofen, liquid or tablet, based on age. Check with your doctor in AM for a plain Xray tomorrow to make sure it is not a complicated fracture requiring an Orthpedic referral. Hope it goes well!
