Will d-mannose and antibiotics help get rid of a strep uti?

Antibiotic only: The right antibiotic will do it. D-mannose is useless. Don't believe what you might read online or in health food stores. And even if it were to help prevent UTI (the main claim for the stuff), it certainly can't do anything for an infection you already have.
