I strained my left calf muscle 14 weeks ago. at first dr was concerned it was a clot and did an ultrasound no clot. it's still tight at night. why hasn't it healed ? is there possibly a clot?

A clot: is really RULED OUT by the Ultrasound but a "simple" strain/sprain should have resolved., You need to seea Board Certified ORTHOPEDIST who may wish to order an MRI to Rule OUT a Gastroc TEAR ! Ask your PCP to refer you! Hope this helps! Dr Z
