Hi i was tested positive for a uti and started the antibiotics but they don't seem to be helping and sores are appearing. why?

See doctor ASAP: It would be helpful to know more about your symptoms, especially the sores; and what UTI test was positive. New genital sores plus painful urination and maybe other UTI symptoms suggests genital herpes. Other STDs also can cause UTI-like symptoms. Maybe UTI plus severe yeast, or allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Return to your doctor ASAP. If herpes, it's important to diagnose and treat early.
