How long after you have botox for migraines do you expect it to start working?does it take a couple of weeks or do you expect it to work straight away

Botox & migranes: Botox effects usually peaks around 10-14 days after the injection. This means that you should gradually start feeling improvement from your migraines several days after the injection and should peak at about the 10-14 day period. Do not expect for it to work immediately. Hope this helps.

BOTOX/migraines: There are so many variables: Amount injected in units, severity of the prodrome, age after mixing BOTOX, etc. Only way is to attempt a few sessions to find the dose amounts and time frame of onset.

2 to 3 weeks: It starts working around 2 to 3 weeks after injection. However, maximum relief may not occur until several weeks after injections.
