Two reasons: you have to discuss with your doctor 1) you may have supra-cervical hysterectomy ( means still have cervix ) 2 ) vagina also prone to get malignancy ( Genital HPV infection ) that could be reason. Speak to your Gyn doctor will explain to you and assure you that will need regular follow up care .
