Venous stasis: There are no limitations on sports. In general, you'll want to avoid long periods of sitting. When flying, recommend compression stockings and baby aspirin as long as no contraindication to taking aspirin. Walking is the best form of exercise for maintains healthy leg veins. Start hiking.

Here are some...: There has been no known way to avoid the occurrence of varicose veins, but keeping healthy with eating and exercising right with timely wearing protective compression long stocks will definitely help to prevent the clotting inside the dilated veins. During flying, regularly exercising the legs + wearing compression long stocks + properly hydrated will help to minimize unwanted events to varicose.

CVI: You should first have a venous ultrasound to see if you have any evidence for venous valvular insufficiency. If you do then medical management is initially indicated. If you have no signs of venous insufficiency then no treatment is necessary other then support hose. Flying is not contraindicated.
