May not be easy: Sports don't appeal to everyone. Attending a professional competition or a game can be fun for the fmily and intriguing enough to move the boulder. Good luck from nyc.

Physical activity: Maybe sport is not the answer. The most important thing is to try and engage your son in physical activity to prevent his future risks of diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease. Perhaps as a family try to plan family game days involving physical activity, limit his computer and tv time to 2 hrs daily and make physical fun a family adventure not just an individual one.

Environment: It may be the surroundings need to be changed. Try sending him to summer camp. Carrots may work too, meaning rewards for physical activities such as walking or even swimming during the summer at the beach. It may be a new environment.
