Won't work: Valtrex works for herpes and nothing else. The typical "sinus infection" (usually just a common cold) responds best to over-the-counter decongestants and pain reliever (aspirin, tylenol, (acetaminophen) ibuprofen, etc) if needed. Contact your doctor if your symptoms are severe and you think you might benefit from additional treatment. But for sure don't waste your Valtrex!
