A member asked:

Can wearing a posture corrector increase height?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Artificially, yes.: If you have a slumped over posture, then correcting your posture, either by training yourself to have better posture or by wearing some assistive device, would make you seem taller because you wouldn't be slumped over anymore. But you wouldn't literally gain height. Personally, I'd rather you retrain your posture than wear something like that all the time.
