IgG2 may be OK CRP+: Since you have temporal arteritis this is an important question. Usually the low IgG subclass two is not a problem. Depending on what your sedimentation rate has been, and the C-reactive protein levels, this may all be just fine. These are important questions you discuss with your rheumatologist

Likely not serious : There is IgG4 related disease which involve IgG4, subclass of IgG, elevation. I don't think there has been known associated illness with IgG2,subclass of IgG, level being low. However, if your IgG is low as a whole then you are more prone for infection. CRP is a marker for inflammation which is sensitive but not specific. It is hard to interpret without other information.
