Under what circumstances would you have an elevated wbc count and a low crp level on a blood test?

Too many to count: Without further information about what you were being evaluated for, the list of potential causes is much too long. Both the white cell count and the c reactive protein are what we call nonspecific tests, meaning they don't point to anything specific and there are many, many things that influence the results.
