Need more info: This is a rather common problem with many women and has a lot of causes. In order to give you help it is essential to see your OB/GYN. Among the first and easiest thing to do is to have your partner see his urologist and get a sperm count. If normal then the search starts with you. Need to know menstrual history, age, medications taken etc. You need a GYN exam. There is increased hope for success.

Infertility workup: After 1 yr of unprotected sex, further evaluation is warranted for infertility. Female evaluation consists of pelvic exam, imaging of the uterus for abnormalities , evaluation of fallopian tubes for blockage, cultures for infection & blood test for starters. Half the cases of infertility are Male factor; exam of the male genitalia, semen/sperm analysis & blood work is a start for male evaluation.
