Ga is 8 weeks 4days when ultrasound was done. ultrasound shows ga as 7 weeks 6 days. fetus is 1.47cm. fhr 158bpm. is this normal range? i'm 40.

Yes: Every quantitative test result is always given as something plus or minus something else. It is a false idea to tell you that the test tells you the fetus is 7 weeks 4 days 9 hours 23 minutes and 17.47 seconds along now. It is just an approximation and usually the best they can call it is within a range of plus or minus 2 weeks (14 days)!!

Within normal range: At this point in pregnancy, a 4 to 5 day difference between the dating of your pregnancy by your last normal menstrual period and the dating by sonographic findings is usually within acceptable limits and subject to confirmation by another ultrasound 4 to 5 wks later. The 1.47 cm measurement of embryo can be considered" fairly reliable and accurate" if obtained by a skilled, certified sonographer
