See answer: Did the GI doc take biopsies of your esophagus to exclude Eosinophilic Esophagitis? If this is absent, then you may have an esophageal muscle issue (dysmotility) especially if you have issues with liquids getting stuck. Talk to your GI doc about getting a barium esophagogram or manometry test. Hope this helps!
