Sounds like: you have chronically infected TONSILS ("so called CRYPTIC" tonsils..These would produce negative cultures at this point! Surgical removal is the treatment of choice although some recommend LONG TERM ANTIBIOTICS. You need the opinion of a Board Certified ENT (Ear Nose Throat) SPECIALIST... Hope this helps! Dr Z
