0.05 cm size?: A neck lymph node is not enlarged if it is 0.5 cm. A lymph node sized 0.05 cm is almost invisible. Any inflammation or infection in the head and neck area can enlarge some lymph nodes. One can keep track of new lumps and bumps by touching them but not squeezing them. Squeezing can cause more inflammation and make a lump or node bigger. A occasional visit to the doctor can be done, if worried.

Don't worry yet.: By your description and timeline, this sounds to be a benign lymph node enlargement. Typically they go away within two weeks. Certainly if this node doesn't go away in four weeks total, you should get an evaluation - typically this would include excision of the node for definitive diagnosis, unless an obvious reason for it to be there is otherwise found.
