I currently have shoulder, arm , and neck pain as well as finger tingling. what can be causing this?

Irritated nerve: Those symptoms together raise suspicion for an irritated or pinched nerve in your neck. I would first see your primary care doctor for diagnosis and initial rx.

Herniated disc: This could be due to a cervical herniated disc causing nerve compression. This can result in shooting pain to arm, numbness and tingling in the arm, and sometimes weakness in the arm. You should see a specialist to see of you need imaging done and to make sure there are no signs of spinal cord compression.

Need evaluation: Difficult to determine without an examination. Differential diagnosis could be cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in neck), brachial plexopathy, peripheral nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel syndrome (not uncommon for cts pain to travel up the arm), or even myofascial pain with trigger points. Would suggest physiatric evaluation for definitive diagnosis and treatment.

Cervical disc: You may have a cervical disc herniation. Time to see a spine specialist. You may need an mri. Good luck.
