I'm a middle age lady doctor from Spain whom always kept good rapport with my family and spanish culture. However after medical school I embarked in a long trans cultural journey, mostly to the US, where I was fortunate to do a PhD in Psycho pharmacology basic research work (Baylor college of medicine 1984-88) and later on to complete a categorical psychiatry residency program at Mount Sinai, NY (1989-93).
My clinical experience as a general adult psychiatrist since 1993, it has encompassed meeting thousands of patients, from a vast variety of psycho social and cultural backgrounds. Different settings, including: small town private practice, nursing homes, state clinics, veterans at the VA , correctional institutions, C&L in large hospital, I have lots to offer, lots to share.
