Yes/no: fillings in molars can be high/painful...but if the bite has been checked the issues is has it been checked as you are sitting up and true everything may be cool but as a clencher myself I know thing may not present themselves in a predictable manner. If it still feels high to you then it IS...the dentist can reproduce the same amount as the 1000 of ligaments that your tooth has. 2nd opinion??
