I had an ultrasound today and one of the nodes below my jaw was kidney bean shaped like above is this normal?

Sub-mandibular node: A lymph node below the jaw, what is referred to as a sub-mandibular node, is not an uncommon finding. In a young person with no other nodes to feel, this probably reactive due to inflammation of infection within the mouth and it is most likely tender to touch. If that is the case then the node will shrink as the inflammation/infection resolves. If id does not seek the opinion of your PCP.
