Otitis externa: It could be "swimmer's ear". That tiny little bump can cause pain that is out of proportion to it's appearance or severity but this usually doesn't progress. You can get OTC acetic acid ear drops. Sometimes antibiotic drops are required so see your doctor if it gets bad.
