Myocardial pain or n: It can be, bursitis, tendinitis, muscle - myofascial vs nerve irritation . Is the area tender? If it is localized you can try heat or cold

How long?: If hours, could be a blood clot. If days, more likely muscle, would apply warm pack and try some Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin.
