Normal skin germ: Staph lugdunesis is a normal skin bacteria. By itself, having it in a culture (e.g. from skin, wound, or urine) is not evidence of disease. It sometimes can cause serious infections, but few that would last for 4 years except maybe osteomyelitis (bone infection). If you have a serious medical problem from this, probably you can get care even without health insurance.
