Heartburn?: One possibility isrhatvyiubhave GERDor LPR. It's when acid or whatever is in your stomach comes up to your throat. When lying flat gravity helps to bring more acid up. So, try avoiding eating for 3 hours before lying down. If symptoms really bad get evaluated by surgeon, ENT, or GI doctor.
