Hello dr. i am taking doxycycline for a possible bacterial infection. but i am getting a buring sensation just after urination every time.isthisnormal?

Yeast? Prostatitis?: Doxycycline and other antibiotics can predispose to yeast infections, but unlikely if you don't also have obvious itching and irritation, especially if uncircumcised. If the "possible infection" involves your prostate, that might be the cause. Most prostatitis at your age isn't due to bacterial infection. Antibiotics often are worth a try but found to not be effective. Discuss w/ your doctor.
