Enteroptosis: Enteroptosis is an old term not used in current practice, that refers to a sagging of internal organs. The medical literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries describes 4 distinct causes of sagging of the internal organs, and proposes different treatments for each. Modern medicine does not recognize enteroptosis as a defined medical condition.
