Exam needed: Since you had significant inhalation of smoke and are still coughing a lot, you may have significant inflammation of the trachea,bronchial tubes or lungs. You should be examined by a physician who will decide whether a chest xray or other assessments of respiratory tract status are indicated and,of course,determine the type of treatment needed. If advisable referral to a pulmonologist will be made
