Mixing : Mixing bleach and ammonia can create choramine vapor which is toxic. If you cleaned your own apartment and are still in it, you and who ever else lives in the apartment should exit it immediately and get to fresh air. Do not re-enter the area where the gases were mixed. If you cleaned someone else's apartment, you need to contact the police so that they can ensure they have not been impacted by toxic fumes. It is likely that you inhaled poisonous vapors. Recommend that you call 911 for emergency assistance. Follow their advice. You need to be medically evaluated emergently. Call poison control at 1-800-222-1222 after you have been medically cleared. They can provide you on instructions on how to work with the area contaminated by toxic gas.
