A member asked:

After surgery it is founded that my 2 yrs son have only one testis.is any problem with his sex life and fertility.can one testis compensate 4 mising1?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO problem in future: At age of 2 undecented one could be brought down to the scrotum by relatively very low risk surgical procedure . One normal testis will do the function ( fertilization ) also will have almost same amount of semen , as most of semen is seminal and other gland secretions not due to testes alone .
