Sort of, but...: There is NO requirement of a doctor or pharmacist to do anything that may not be medically appropriate. That means a long-term patient who is well known to her primary care or prescribing doctor, has a good track record of responsible medication use, who has no history of drug overuse or misuse, etc., has a better chance of getting a few monthly refills without seeing her doctor in-person.
