Antihistamine effect: Sounds like anticholinergic effect as a reaction to vistaril (hydroxyzine). Unlikely related to Lexapro (escitalopram) but possible. Check with you prescribing provider as you may have extra sensitivity or allergy to antihistamines or any meds with high cholinergic load.

Xerostomia: Or dry mouth, is a known side effect for both drugs, more pronounced with vistaril. It will take some time to get out of your system , may be few days. If you were on lexapro (escitalopram) for some time you don't want to stop on your own abruptly, better through your doctor. Dry mouth will go, white tongue is due to it, push fluids, if no improvement see your doctor, antibiotics won't fix it, wish you wellness
