Depends: One temperature reading doesn't mean you need to see the doctor, but if your child has been ill for a while it may be an important sign to address infection. You can call the doctor and ask questions of the nurse or doctor to determine how serious this is. Other things such as ability to eat and drink, activity level, and normal daily functions matter as well, call your doctor for feedback
