Ct will help a lot: CT is our best test for fine anatomic detail and should go a long way to put your mind at ease and/or find the problem. No way to tell until then what role pancreas may be playing. Try not to worry until you are told there is something definite to be concerned with. You are doing the right thing in seeing your doctor and following up, so that should make you feel a little better.

Probably: Pancreas is in left upper quadrant, and although it varies it usually does not cause right upper quadrant pain. Structures in that area include your liver, gall bladder, and lower portion of your lung among other possibilities. The ct scan will be helpful and will show the structures in the area you are hutrting.
