For 57+ female is change in hb 10.6 to 12.4 using 'orofer xt' for 2+ months good enough improvement ? does it indicate any blood loss ?

It is generally: expected that with this degree of anemia, iron supplementation will result in a normal hemoglobin in 6-8 weeks so she seems to be on track. BUT, the most important question is whether the cause of the anemia was investigated. A 57 year old woman should not just be given iron supplements; sources of bleeding, especially in the GI tract, must be explored. Hopefully a full anemia work-up was done:)
