They are broad: and far-reaching. Primary is compromised quantity and quality of drinking water; compromised food production; diminished living conditions related to energy, air quality, sanitation and hygiene. All of these may lead to increased illness and disease. Drought is a serious health issue.

Depends: If you live in an area that is experiencing a drought then you need to find a source of clean water to drink. If you can get bottled water and stay well hydrated then there should be no health consequences. If you are not able to get adequate water then dehydration can cause symptoms of fatigue and in extreme cases damage to the kidneys and other organs.

Here are some...: Man-made anti-drought effort may reach its limit. Beyond that humans rely on their individual mental & physical value, ability, & capacity to negotiate and cope with drought-striken environments for survival, growth, & continuation. That is why knowledge, common sense, & wisdom are important for ultimate safe survival; at the end, some survive and others demise.
