It is normal in: the teen years to have variation in menstrual flow however the groin lump (probably a lymph node) is definitely NOT normal. I suggest you see a GYN specialist as soon as practicable! Hope this helps! Dr Z

Periods: It is not uncommon to have a heavy flow intermittently but I would see your doctor as he or she can put you on hormonal therapy. The lump sounds like a gland in your groin and is probably not related to your periods
