Day 3 of 10, 500mg azithromycin for a sinus infection. i have diarrhea and mucus in stool. is this normal? no blood or pain.

Contact your doctor: Many antibiotics, including azithromycin, can cause diarrhea. Usually it isn't serious, and absence of blood and pain is a good sign. However, mucus could suggest a more serious problem, such as antibiotic-triggerd Clostridium difficile ("C diff"). Tell the doctor who prescribed azithromycin and follow her advice.
