I was checking my testicles for any irregularities and i noticed there was a hard tubular-like structure on the surface of the left testicle. i identified the epididymis so i didn't think it was that. i thought it was a vein since it felt firmer, harder

Any testicular mass: is abnormal. You should show this to your doctor or a urology specialist. It could be a tumor, however unlikely.
