Not uncommon: Ear infections often cause a child to feel dizzy, which can cause vomiting, but many children vomit with any illness or from medication. That said, repeated vomiting and marked irritability needs to be brought to the attention of his doctor, which would suggest lack of response to Rx or a more serious infection like meningitis.

Mgt: I would advise small amounts of clear fluids such as pedialyte frequently and a follow visit. Pneumonia may also present with vomiting.
