No: What a great question! No, your UTI will not infect.the baby. There are several prescription antibiotics we use to treat uti. Cotrimoxasole is one. You should have a urine culture and evaluation to be sure we are treating with the appropriate antibiotic. Keep breastfeeding through this. Congrats on doing such a wonderful thing for your baby!
