2 year old has little appetite. drinking, playing and good mood. no fever but diarrhea and threw up x2 (looked curdled) what can it be/should i do?

Probably a virus: It probably means they have one of the many stomach viruses which are going around right now. Trying to keep him hydrated oraly is really the best treatment, better even than IV fluids. Give one sip of hydration (water, pedialyte, gatorade) on a spoon at a time. If he keeps it down, give another spoonful 5 minutes later and keep it up until he's better. Then bland, lactose free diet, small bites.

Needs hydration : Diarrhea in this age is generally caused by viruses and resolve in a week or so, in the meantime, just make sure the child remains well hydrated with electrolyte solution such as pedialyte.
