Has had a cough for the last 2 weeks. first 2 days had a low fever but none since. now cough sounds like there's lots of mucus. what should i do?

See doc if worried: Without seeing her or knowing more, can't say for sure... but 2 days fever followed by 2 weeks of cough isn't unusual for resolving viral cold. Coughing up sputum helps protect the lungs from pneumonia. If her fevers return, or her cough gets worse instead of better, then take her to see her doc, or go sooner if you're worried. In the meantime, no cough medicines. Teaspoon of honey works better!
