My left ear hurts when i stretch my neck to the right or to the back. doctor did not find an infection. what could this be?

Some ideas: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, an imbalance in pressure on etiher side of the ear drum can cause positional pain/hearing problmes/popping. Congestion/allergy/ mild infection/ abnormal shape in ear structure/change in air pressure all can do this.
