Recent infection: Your positive gonorrhea test means you were infected recently, probably within a few weeks and for sure a few months before the test. Even without antibiotics, the immune sysem clears gonorrhea in a few months. Also, it is likely that some of the antibiotics used for your UTIs would have cured gonorrhea if you had it. Make sure your partner(s) are tested and treated. Good luck!
