Not per se!: High blood protein can indicate one of two things, most commonly: 1. Stress. Vascular arterial constriction will increase protein and hemoglobin. 2. This is more likely. High proteins usually indicate high globulins, not albumin, a healthy protein. Globulins equate with inflammation, which is bad. Therefore it is important to find out why you have elevated proteins, which can be done simply!
