Incas Revenge??: If the swelling spreads, turns red, hurts or a red streak up the arm develops, or fever, or the blister turns cloudy, then best to see a doctor if, after carefully popping the blister with a sterile blade and applying an antibacterial ointment, it keeps getting worse. Keep it clean, dry and protected. If the hand swells, elevate it and see a doctor. I'll bet if you care for it you'll do just fine.

Now 18 hrs. out: By now I hope you are on the mend. If it is getting worse, see a Peruvian Doc. Increased swelling now might be worrisome infection/venom. At 18 hrs. out, if it is already getting better, warm soaks may help it along as the mild increase in circulation helps heal and fight minor infection. If it itches, though, heat may make it itch more. The picture is a tick bite which is a separate story.
