Anaphylaxis: Anytime exposure of one body part (hand) to a substance that causes symptoms or findings distant from that exposure, especially central (face), most critically shortness of breath or swollen tongue, would indicate a severe allergic reaction and possibly anaphylactic shock. Could be as simple as atopic dermatitis but a visit to the ER or an urgent care would be appropriate
