Probably not: However if there are findings that strongly suggest syphilis (i.e. lesions that are strongly suggestive of syphilis or known exposure to a sexual partner with syphilis), then your doctor can ask the diagnostic lab to test for the prozone effect. They simply dilute your specimen and repeat the test. If that sample is negative, then it rules out a "false negative" test.
