No problem: When original approach t GB employed, syxtic and cystic artery were free tied. Now with either open or laparoscopic procedure, clips are employed. These are non reactive , usually titanium which cause no inflammation and rarely dislodge. Even then there are no associated complications. It is now considered normal to see vascular clips on a scan of an operative site.

Expected finding: Clips related to prior surgeries are frequently seen on follow up imaging done for other reasons and usually of only incidental note.
